After spending years in Gotham City, the producers have secured the rights to produce a new series based around the adventures of Marvel’s X-Men franchise. Gotham City is in shambles. Massive breakouts from Arkham and Blackgate have rocked the city. From the flames, Hugo Strange and Derek Powers have announced an alliance to purchase Narrows Isle and turn it into a super-max prison and mental health facility. The vigilantes have come to a turning point in Gotham’s history, their actions now will shape the future of the city.

While the GCPD are on the trail of The Jape for his role in the death of Abattoir, Gotham’s underworld starts to boil when it’s two largest Mob bosses start struggling over control of the city. If either empire can survive the next few nights, they will seize control of Gotham’s entire organized crime network. The vigilantes are faced with handling the delicate situation before a full scale gang war erupts on Gotham’s streets.

It’s been one year since Batman was thrown, broken and bloody, down into Gotham Square. The world has grown dark and Gotham City is it’s black heart. The Justice League is gone and Heroes are becoming a thing of the past. The summer between their Sophomore and Junior year was a dark one for many of the students at the Thomas M. Stonehill School for Gifted Youngsters. The news of Anna Balot’s death hit the new Junior class pretty hard, especially after ‘The Crash’. Tensions run high as the students come back for their second to last year of school.

As the Guardians fight to save the soul of Gotham City, the Dark Knight returns to a city she no longer recognizes.

It’s been six months since we last saw the Guardians and eight months since the Earthquake that destroyed Gotham City. The US Government has exiled Gotham from the United States, turning it into No Man’s Land. Bridges were destroyed, the river mined, and the entire city walled off, guarded by the U.S. Army. Inside the city, freed inmates of Arkham Asylum, Blackgate, and the Cryo-Prision battle for control along with various gangs. The team has grown apart, all focused on separate concerns. What is the future of Gotham City?

Just as things begin to calm down, news hits the streets of Gotham City that changes everything.

Gotham City has been devastated by a massive earthquake. In a matter of hours life in Gotham City was permanently changed. Vigilantes across Gotham have banded together to do what little they can and face a new enemy, Quakemaster. Who claims responsibility for the event.

The Guardians are approached by an ally who hopes they can deal with Freeze before he turns all of Gotham City into his own frozen realm.

The media is in a frenzy after the city is saved from the Clench by a team of vigilantes. The Gotham City Police Department is struggling to maintain control as the threat of privatization grows larger and larger. To make matters worse, the team has just caught wind of a second attempt to introduce the Clench virus into Gotham City.
